ZAIMOKU ZA Beach and WAKA ENOJIMA
ZAIMOKUZA BEACH is the left hand side (east side) of Kamakura beach.
As you see it in the picture, this area is popular among local surfers.
Another historical icon in ZAIMOKUZA is WAKA ENOJIMA.
WAKA ENOJIMA is an old port build in Kamakura Era. (1232 DC)
It is said that this port is big enough to import many items from other city.
What you can see now is the tiny rocky islands, only. However, if you look carefully at your feet, you might be able to find a fragments of old porcelain and pottery.
Photo: Panoramic view from WAKA ENOJIMA.
Fragments of old pottery and porcelain.
Some statue at the center of WAKA ENOJIMA. I was expected to see something printed or engraved, however, it was just a stone.
